Responsibility
At Blue Roots, we want to do more than business. We want to make a difference. We believe in giving back, taking care, making a difference.
Youth very much has our attention and therefore we support Destiny Welfare Centre in Malaysia in their effort to:
- Providing daycare support;
- Pre-school education to Myanmar refugee.
Our Vision
To empower the underprivileged, the needy, the poor, and marginalized children and adults to live meaningful and purposeful lives with peace and equity.
Our Mission
Promoting empowerment of people; through education, social integration, and decent work employability!
As a background, the Centre was initially founded by Nathan Diggs, who was a refugee himself.
The Centre is registered directly under United Nations (“UN”) since May 2014.
However, holding refugee status, Nathan was unable to register the Centre with the relevant government body nor open an official bank account back then.
In October 2016, Nathan was offered permanent resident status in New Zealand from UN and handed over the Centre to me in November 2016.
The Centre provides these children the opportunity to receive early education as they are not eligible to enroll into any schools in Malaysia.
The Centre believes in empowerment through a heart of love by sharing, caring, loving, building, teaching and character building in education and healthy living.

Everyone can make a difference, large or small, and we strongly think that deep within oneself, a desire exists to create a better future by helping others.
